10.5" FCD Modern Day CQBR

One of our first AR15 builds, is our personal 10.5" AR15 build that was inspired by the infamous CQBR MK18 but with a more modern look featuring an ambidextrous Lower Receiver and several Forward Controls Design parts and some other updated features. There is a strong affinity for the MK18 due to its versatile nature, evident upon first handling it. Its compact size renders it ideal for close-quarter combat indoors or while maneuvering in and around vehicles. While it may lack the range lethality of a longer barrel, its effective reach extends to approximately 300m, sufficient for most urban engagements where sightlines rarely exceed 100.. Unlike the M4, its shorter barrel facilitates room clearing, and its focus on close-quarter effectiveness aligns perfectly with the demands of urban environments, where long-range capabilities often go underutilized. Consequently, the MK18 has emerged as the weapon of choice for operators operating in confined spaces
