BUILDS • GEAR • TRAINING • COMPETITION • SHOP TALK
More than a blog. The OSA Journal is where we go deeper into the builds, products, techniques, training and experiences that shape what we do at OceanStateArmory.
The OSA Journal isn't here to recycle product descriptions or repeat what's already been said. It's a place to document projects coming through the shop, break down the parts and ideas behind our builds, share what we're learning through training and competition, and talk about the firearms industry from the perspective of a working custom shop.
Projects, experience and ideas from inside and outside the OSA shop.
Detailed looks at OSA builds, component selection, design decisions and the ideas behind finished projects.
Cerakote, engraving, gunsmithing, projects and lessons learned from behind the bench at OSA.
Optics, components, equipment and products we've used, tested or incorporated into our builds.
Lessons, takeaways and experiences from firearms training and time spent developing skills on the range.
Match experiences, equipment setups and lessons learned through practical shooting competition.
Thoughts on products, trends, regulations and developments affecting the firearms community.
Some articles will break down a custom build. Others may cover a training class, competition, product, shop project or something happening in the firearms community. The common thread is simple: if we're writing about it, it's because we have something worth saying about it.
