Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount – M-LOK

The Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount is designed to position your weapon light exactly where it belongs—tight to the handguard, lightweight, and out of the way. Purpose-built for M-LOK handguards, this low-profile mount replaces bulky factory adapters, allowing compatible Scout-pattern lights to sit closer to the rail for improved ergonomics and a cleaner overall setup.

It's especially effective on modern handguards featuring 45-degree mounting flats, where its adjustable design provides additional clearance for front sights, lasers, and other accessories.

Features

  • Low-profile inline Scout light mount for M-LOK handguards
  • Optimized for handguards with 45° mounting flats
  • Three-position mounting system for accessory clearance
  • Lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum construction
  • MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized finish
  • Precision CNC machined
  • Includes mounting hardware
  • Made in the USA

Compatible Lights

Compatible with most Scout-pattern weapon lights, including:

  • SureFire M300 & M600 Series
  • SureFire Dual Fuel Models
  • SureFire Vampire Models
  • Modlite PLH, PLHv2 & OKW
  • Arisaka 300 & 600 Series Lights
  • Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1
  • Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 2
  • Streamlight ProTac HL-X (Non-Laser)
  • Olight Odin
  • Cloud Defensive REIN

Adjustable Mounting

The Inline Scout Mount offers three mounting positions, allowing you to shift the light approximately 0.12" to either side of center.

This added adjustability is especially useful for:

  • Folding front sight clearance
  • Laser and IR device clearance
  • Pressure switch placement
  • Optimizing thumb activation

When mounted on a 45° flat, the light sits just 0.20" above the mounting surface, keeping your rifle streamlined while minimizing barrel shadow.

Compatibility Notes

The Inline Scout Mount is particularly well suited for handguards such as:

  • BCM MCMR
  • Geissele SMR MK4, MK8 & MK16
  • Daniel Defense MFR
  • Knight's Armament URX4
  • ALG EMR
  • Midwest Industries Gen 3
  • Mega MML
  • Mega/Hodge Wedge Lock

Front Sight Clearance

Top Left 45° Mounting Surface

Compatible with most popular sights, including:

  • Magpul MBUS Pro
  • Knight's Armament Micro
  • Troy Folding Sights
  • Diamondhead
  • MBUS Gen II (with proper positioning)

Top Right 45° Mounting Surface

Due to the shape of the Scout Light body, clearance is more limited.

Compatible with:

  • Magpul MBUS Pro
  • Knight's Armament Micro

Larger sights such as Troy, Diamondhead, and MBUS Gen II may require repositioning of either the light or front sight for proper clearance.

Installation Notes

To keep the mount as compact as possible, the front mounting screw is accessed through the Scout light body.

Installation Tip: Remove the tailcap from the light before installation to access the forward mounting screw.

Note: This mount is not designed to cantilever past the end of the handguard. It should be fully supported by the M-LOK mounting surface.

Our Thoughts

The Inline Scout Mount is one of our favorite weapon light mounts for M-LOK rifles.

Unlike factory mounts that often position the light farther from the handguard than necessary, the Arisaka mount keeps everything tucked in tight, reducing snag hazards while improving ergonomics and activation.

The ability to fine-tune the light's position is particularly valuable on modern rifles equipped with front sights, lasers, suppressors, or other accessories competing for rail space.

If you're building a serious defensive, duty, or competition rifle, this is one of those upgrades that makes the rifle feel more refined without adding unnecessary weight.
