Laser Engrave Cerakoted Optic Factory Markings

Bring Your Optic Back to a Factory-Correct Look

Cerakoting an optic can completely transform the appearance of a custom build, but the process often covers the original manufacturer logos, model designations, adjustment markings, and factory identification text.

Our Laser Engraved Cerakote Optic Factory Markings service restores those details after Cerakote using precision laser engraving for a clean, professional, OEM-inspired appearance.

Whether you're refinishing a Holosun, Trijicon, Aimpoint, EOTech, Vortex, Steiner, or another compatible optic, restoring the original-style markings can be the final detail that ties the entire project together.

Custom finish. Factory-inspired details.

Service Includes

  • Precision laser engraving of factory-style logos and markings
  • Restoration of model designations and identification text where applicable
  • Restoration of applicable adjustment or control markings
  • Clean, permanent engraving through the Cerakote finish
  • Professional alignment and placement
  • Final quality inspection

Compatible With

This service is available for many Cerakoted optics, including:

  • Holosun
  • Trijicon
  • Aimpoint
  • EOTech
  • Vortex Optics
  • Steiner
  • SIG Sauer Electro-Optics
  • Primary Arms
  • Other compatible red dots, reflex sights, and optics

Compatibility depends on the individual optic, its construction, original markings, and the surfaces being Cerakoted.

If you're unsure whether your optic is compatible, contact OceanStateArmory before placing your order.

What Markings Can Be Restored?

Depending on the optic, factory-style markings may include:

  • Manufacturer logo
  • Model designation
  • Product identification
  • Adjustment markings
  • Brightness/control markings
  • Directional indicators
  • Other original exterior markings

The exact markings restored will depend on the original optic and available reference artwork.

The Perfect Finishing Touch

A freshly Cerakoted optic can look great on its own, but restoring the original-style markings takes the project one step further.

The laser engraving creates contrast against the Cerakote and brings back the small details that were covered during refinishing, giving the optic a much more complete and intentional appearance.

This service is especially well suited for optics being Cerakoted as part of a complete OSA custom build, where maintaining consistent attention to detail across every component can make a significant difference in the finished project.

Designed to Complement OSA Cerakote

This service is intended to be performed after the optic has been Cerakoted.

For customers having their optic Cerakoted by OceanStateArmory, simply add the Factory Marking Restoration service to the project and we'll complete the engraving after the Cerakote process.

If you're sending an optic that has already been Cerakoted elsewhere, contact OSA before ordering so we can confirm compatibility with the existing finish.

Important Information

  • This service is intended for Cerakoted optics.
  • Factory markings are recreated as closely as reasonably possible but may vary slightly from the original markings.
  • Exact appearance depends on the optic, original artwork, surface geometry, and Cerakote color.
  • Some factory markings may not be suitable for restoration.
  • Engraving is performed only on appropriate exterior surfaces.
  • This is a cosmetic service only and does not modify the optic's internal components or function.
  • OSA will determine whether a particular marking or surface can be safely engraved before work is performed.

Our Thoughts

It's a small detail, but it's one that can completely change the finished appearance of a Cerakoted optic.

Cerakote gives you the custom color and durability you're looking for. Restoring the factory-style markings makes the optic look finished.

If you're already putting the time and money into a custom Cerakote project, this is one of those final touches that helps bring everything together.
