Sending Your Optic
For the best possible fit, we recommend sending the actual optic that will be installed on the pistol along with your slide whenever possible.
This allows OSA to verify fitment with the individual optic rather than relying solely on published footprint dimensions.
If you are purchasing the optic through OceanStateArmory, we can incorporate the optic into the project and verify fitment during the machining process.
What to Send
For optic-cut services, you generally only need to send your:
- Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 slide
- Optic, if being fitted by OSA
- Any applicable sights or components being installed
- Copy of your order information
There is generally no need to ship the complete firearm when only slide machining is being performed.
