Glock G19 Frankenstein EDC
Posted by Anthony Reis on 22nd Apr 2024
This Glock G19 started its life as a Gen 4 G23 chambered in 40 S&W. Due to the overwhelming statistics and data showing how 9mm is a much better caliber then 40 S&W in so many ways, a complete overhaul was done to this firearm to change it to what it is today. The G23 frame was sent to our friend Jay at Steady Grind Designs for stippling and a double undercut. A Magpul Magwell was installed to help with faster reloads and a Zev Pro Curved trigger was added to replace the ever NOT so popular factory Glock trigger. One of our favorite EDC weapon lights is the Streamlight TLR-7a, so you know that had to be added to complete this part of the build. The factory G23 slide was ditched for a Zev Z19 slide and parts kit along with a Gen 5 G19 Performance Barrel. Lastly we installed another one of our favorite RDS's, the Trijicon RMR06.
