Built Around the A2
Forward Controls Design believes the standard A2 flash hider remains one of the best all-around muzzle devices ever created.
Rather than reinventing it, the 6315KM refines the original design by reducing the size of the 3 and 9 o'clock ports, directing more gas upward to better control muzzle rise while maintaining flash suppression that's comparable to the military A2 flash hider.
The result is a muzzle device that shoots flatter without introducing the excessive blast, concussion, or flash typically associated with compensators and muzzle brakes.
Dead Air KeyMo Compatible
The 6315KM incorporates the Dead Air KeyMo mounting interface, allowing quick and repeatable attachment of compatible Dead Air suppressors.
Its precision machining provides excellent suppressor alignment and repeatable return-to-zero, making it an ideal choice for shooters who frequently transition between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.
Duty-Focused Design
As with many Forward Controls Design products, the 6315KM includes subtle features inspired by real-world use.
Wire-cutter alignment notches are machined ahead of the side ports, paying homage to classic military muzzle devices while preserving a clean, functional design. Every aspect of the 6315KM reflects FCD's focus on practical performance rather than unnecessary complexity.
The extended length and pre-drilled pin hole also make it an excellent option for 13.7" and 13.9" barrels requiring a permanent pin and weld to meet the 16-inch minimum barrel length requirement.

The 6315KM is one of our favorite suppressor-ready flash hiders.
Many modern muzzle devices prioritize recoil reduction at the expense of increased flash and concussion. The 6315KM takes a different approach, preserving the outstanding flash suppression of the A2 while delivering a noticeable improvement in muzzle control. For a defensive or duty rifle, we believe that's the better compromise.
